Semiannual events of personal importance to me are the spring and winter plant sales at City College of San Francisco. It’s a fundraiser for scholarships for students in the Environmental Horticulture and Floristry Department (I’ve personally benefited from the scholarships on more than one occasion), and it’s all about selling plants and arrangements that have been created and propagated by students in the department. Next week is the winter sale!

It’s worth mentioning that prices are insanely cheap. Like, big-box store kinda prices…
